      Things Under Development

      • Matrix sometimes exports with data irregularities when exporting GenAI report pages.
      • Map: 
        • Power BI from Microsoft’s end is in the process of updating its older Bing Maps to Azure Maps.
        • Additionally, Maps requires properly refined Latitude and Longitude Coordinates to be wholly accurate.
      • The fact table generates multiple versions of the same columns because each chart may have the same column (for example, Sales_Value in multiple visuals is shown as various columns named Sales_Value_2, Sales_Value_3, etc.).
      • There are minor differences in the visual aspect of Mokkup and Power BI due to translational differences. All of them are noted and will be addressed in future releases

      1. General Current Quirks

      • Data-Label Positioning: The “Inside end” option in Properties → Data Labels is not reflected in Tableau exports.
      • Font Weight Setting (Fixed): Adjusting font weight in Add-Ons → Text currently has no effect.
      • Button/Dropdown Alignment: In Add-Ons → Buttons or Dropdowns, left-aligned buttons and right-aligned titles do not stay on the same row after export.
      • Persistent Tooltips on Buttons: Tooltips appear on buttons, but should be removed.
      • Bar Width Control: The Properties → Bar Width setting currently has no effect.
      • Secondary Axis Export: Enabling a secondary Y-axis in Edit Chart → Y Axis is not reflected in Tableau exports.
      • Legend-Hiding: Clicking a measure’s legend hides it in Mokkup, but Tableau exports still display all measures (some gridlines may disappear, but the series remains).
      • Use Sheet Names as Chart Titles: Each sheet should be named to match its chart title for consistency.
      • X-Axis as Text Field: X-axis title is exported as a text field instead of a proper Axis Title in Tableau.
      • Headers: Highlighted Text Placement: Allow more flexible placement so highlighted text can appear alongside logos/buttons instead of requiring one or the other.

      2. Chart-Specific Quirks 

      • Column & Bar Charts: Axis titles export as text boxes instead of true axis titles.
      • Line Chart:
        • Properties → Marker Style currently has no effect.
        • Has an invisible area chart
      • Area Chart: Opacity control under Properties isn’t functioning
      • Simple Table:
        • Row banding extends outside the table boundaries.
        • Empty tables display a single default row regardless of rows added in Mokkup.
        • “Stylize Column” settings are not applied.
      • Hierarchy Table: Hierarchy table functionality is broken.
      • Heatmap: Adding a row results in all “null” cells (black boxes), and Tableau exports show: error creating element.
      • Funnel Chart: Data-label positioning doesn’t align correctly—labels remain in the upper left instead of centering.
      • Quadrant Chart:
        • Marker Style settings for “line” and “dash” have no effect.
        • Exported legends display only colors, not shapes, as in Mokkup.
      • Shapes Chart: Still in development and not yet functional.
      • Sankey Diagram: Doesn’t render properly and adds extra “Level x Filler” rows, altering the structure.
      • Waterfall Chart:
        • Column-width settings are not applied.
        • Legends appear as discrete in Mokkup but export as continuous.
      •  Gauge: Neither the text nor the dropdown control from Add-Ons appears.
